Who we are
RobotDM is operated by Postrise (proprietor: Zehra Begum V.K), India. It helps businesses automatically reply to comments on their Instagram posts and send the commenter a direct message.
What data we collect
When a business connects its Instagram account, we receive from Instagram its account ID, username, profile name and picture, and an access token that lets us act for the account. We store the token so we can reply for the business.
When someone comments on a post of a connected account, or messages that account, we receive the person's Instagram user ID and username, the comment or message text, the post ID, and the time. We also keep the replies and DMs the account sends through RobotDM.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: to post a public reply to a comment, send one direct message in response, show the business a record of these conversations, and let the business reply. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the infrastructure providers that host the service (Vercel and Supabase).
How long we keep it
Comment and message records are kept while the business uses the service, and deleted within 30 days after the business disconnects its account or asks us to.
Deleting your data
To have your data deleted, email aafaqclassic@gmail.com with your Instagram username. We delete all records linked to it within 30 days and confirm by email. A business can also disconnect RobotDM at any time from Instagram under Settings, Apps and websites. The steps are on the data deletion page.
