Terms of service

The service

RobotDM, a product of Postrise, lets businesses reply to Instagram comments and send direct messages automatically, and manage the resulting conversations. By connecting an Instagram account you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need an Instagram Business or Creator account that you own or are allowed to manage. You are responsible for what happens under your connected account, and for keeping your Instagram login secure.

Rules for using it

• Follow Instagram's and Meta's terms and policies, including the messaging rules.
• Tell people they are talking to an automated assistant, as the law and Instagram require.
• Send only messages people would expect after commenting. No spam, deception, or unlawful content.
• Don't try to get around Instagram's limits or use the service to harass anyone.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Content and data

You own the messages you write and the data from your account. You allow us to process them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having any consent needed to message the people who comment.

Availability

We work to keep RobotDM running, but it depends on Instagram's systems and limits, which we don't control. Messages may be delayed or fail when Instagram has problems, and the service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted use.

Ending your use

You can disconnect your account at any time from the dashboard or from Instagram under Settings, Apps and websites. We may stop the service for an account that breaks these terms.

Liability and law

To the extent the law allows, Postrise is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost sales or missed messages. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
